1. Marceline Smith - Established zinemaker
I have many many zine plans and half-finished zines on the go so I’m pledging to finish my illustrated solar system zine and make another zine about Japan.
2. Sasha C - A zine dabbler
To finish Kiss With A Fist zine #1, to start work on #2, & to get a related blog up & running. I’d also really like to collaborate on a zine (do get in touch via email@example.com if you’re up for this!).
3. Francine Denise - First time zinemaker!
I’ve always been really into zines. They’re extremely fun to thumb through and admire. I’d love to create some sort of art zine, but I’m not really sure how I’ll approach it as of yet. But, I’m super stoked to do some research and get to work on my first zine!.
3. Heather - First time zinemaker!
I pledge to create at least one zine before next years deadline… even if it’s the saddest little zine to ever exist *weep*.
4. Frandroid Atreides - A zine dabbler
I will make one microzine this year! Something cute and political. :P
5. Kimberley Dawkins - First time zinemaker!
I plan on making (and continuing to make) a literary/art zine called Chrysalis. It will be published bimonthly.
6. Claire Badgery - First time zinemaker!
I am going to write my first zine, which I already know the title for having read literally hundreds over the past year and a half.
7. Charley Button Roberts - First time zinemaker!
I pledge to make at least one zine before July 2013. As of yet, I have no plan but tons of ideas!
8. Hazel Catkins - A zine dabbler
I plan to finally publish Shy Persons Social Club before the end of the zine challenge! I have loads of little bits of ideas floating around and it would be nice to finally collect them all and send them along.
9. Laura - First time zinemaker!
After failing in the last Zine Challenge, I pledge to give it another go and try not to let the pesky baby get in the way. At least this year I have an idea to work with!
10. Claire Brown - A zine dabbler
I have at least one zine in me this year. I know the title, the subject and I’ve already collated most of it. I will do it. I WILL DO IT.
11. Flo - First time zinemaker!
I’d love to make a zine about relationships, definitions, and boundaries. I also think it’d be pretty exciting to do a collaborative zine - if you’re up for it, email me at flo[AT]ledfantastic[DOT]com
12. Sally Dyer - First time zinemaker!
I pledge to finally make the zine I have been promising/threatening to make since I was 16. No more excuses, no more thinking I’m not good enough to make it. Going to use the best of my current/new artwork to make something I’m proud of.
13. kera ella ash - A zine dabbler
I will finally make a zine that isn’t a five-page minizine! AND IT SHALL BE AWESOME. :D Zine world, here I come! :P
14. Nafio - First time zinemaker!
I’m planning on making a creative Zine for busy mums… tips of how to be organized and loads of ideas on how to make stuff.
15. Kelly - A zine dabbler
First up: “I Statements” split zine with Jude.
16. Kimi Wilborn - A zine dabbler
Last July I made my first zine ‘I Want To Write You Something Beautiful #1’ and am hoping this gives me the push to finally put out #2!
17. Lydia - A zine dabbler
I want to make a zine/handmade book every month, so by July I’ll have seven all together.
18. Tia Korger - First time zinemaker!
I want to print a zine or small stapled booklet called She’s Whiz and Frau Mage featuring artists from Wisconsin. For the most part, it is an experiment. I haven’t done anything like creating and distributing a zine before, but I have always like small publishing works. I plan to print a small amount of zines which will roughly be 35 pages long. By July 1st, I will complete She’s Whiz and Frau Mage!
19. Mark Price - Established zinemaker
I have been making a zine each month and every month since I started my project: Zine of the Month back in 2009. Subscriptions are available as are individual back issues to preview and purchase. I’ll send some in for your challenge!
20. Heath R. Davis - A zine dabbler
I don’t have a plan yet, but I was thinking of making one about my time in Texas and homesickness for Seattle. We’ll see.
21. Katy - A zine dabbler
I forgot to sign up last year, but still made a zine in the end, so I reckon I can do it again. My challenge is to finish off the zine I started three years ago about my handmade wedding. But I’m going to change it up a little so it isn’t horrifically outdated - times move fat in weddingland!
22. Laura - First time zinemaker!
One of my resolutions for 2013 is to make and distribute a zine. I have never made a zine before and I’m still deciding what to do. The zine topics I find interesting include per-zines, feminism, politics and travel advice. Watch this space!
23. LogPoes - Established zinemaker
After having worked on (and finished, yay!) a 32 page perzine in a year, I’d like to do a fun cut-and-paste zine, just to switch things up a little! :-)
24. Brittney Reed - First time zinemaker!
Agh, this challenge is awesome because I’ve been meaning to make a zine since eighth grade and never did! I will probably either make something uplifting about gardening or something depressing about working in an office. All with an anarchistic bent. At least that’s what I’m thinking now.
24. Sarah - A zine dabbler
At least one zine! :)
24. Rachel Lindan - A zine dabbler
This year I WILL make issue #2 of my not-yet-a-zine-series Awaiting An Epiphany, like I’ve been meaning to since mid 2010. I have to get my zine-based act together. I hope that pledging publicly will help. :)
