REVIEW: Grow by Edward Ross
As one of those people who usually stops reading your blog when you have a baby, I wouldn’t normally buy a book of cartoons about parenthood, but Eddie’s previous work and the samples he blogged made me fairly sure I would still enjoy it.
It’s a slim volume full of 4 panel comics about daily life as Eddie and Mary prepare for and get to know their new son. It’s full of sweet moments and also a few moments of worry and fear. There were a few strips that left me nonplussed as a non-parent, but generally it was a fun read.
I would still definitely recommend you pick up his 100 Tiny Moments book first, but this would make a great gift for new and expectant parents.
£5 from his shop. Available for Kindle too, from Amazon.
